I have an old friend who is a wheelwright. I just found he'd posted this video of him making a wheel. A quiet, contemplative 34 minutes, no music and no narration. I thought some people might enjoy it. Although the only sounds are from the various tools it's worth watching with the sound up.

Fascinating, what a craft. The rush at the end caught me by surprise, I wouldn't have liked to have been that apprentice.

Not sure why i enjoyed this so much. Maybe it is getting older and having a few injuries recently seeing a sportsman still enjoying the sport they love even as there ability to do that sport has declined.
