stop press:

planetextremerockfaxfear dotcom to launch "pullup" masterclass

For a mere £500 a day, climbers with more money than sense are being offered the unique opportunity to gain coaching and training from Britain's climbing elite in this new, cutting edge technique.

The one day course involves:

Morning - meet, greet and choose wardrobe of fookin massive climbing logos for the day, followed by intensive sunbed sessions.

Next, a run-through of the "pull-up" by some of the country's leading officiandos, with a specific focus on the polishing of one's guns.

Afternoon - one-to-one sessions with instructors to focus technique and a session on mental preparations for "pulling up".

Book early to avoid disappointment.

don't forget that planetextremehypeover-caffeinated sugary drink companysunbedding.co.ck are awaiting delivery of a consignment of carbon fibre extreme performance pullup bars. These are hand made in a bucharest prison. Yours for the bargain introductory price of only £187.99

on the subject of planet fear courses...a friend of a friend foolishly paid to get coaching in font and claims to have been told that he was good enough anyway and all the wisdom of the coaches could do him no good.
value for money??

"and all the wisdom of the coaches could do him no good." - that is what i find weird - that people look to good climbers and expect them to be good coaches. Large majority of good coaches are not experts in a field - they enable people to fulfil their potential - they don't teach. they question, challenge, suggest other methods. From my experience, the best climbers are definately not the best coaches! to suggest they can't help is a damning indictment on their ability to act as a coach and get the best out of someone.
