Got an email last night from someone at the BMC with the following details:-
BoulderUK will open its doors with an open bouldering event on the 6th April. Men, Wmn and vets will compete for lots of prizes including £150 for the first placed Male and Female. The comp is open to over 16's only. There will be 20 problems to climb in 3hrs starting at 10am after which there will be a final for Men, Wmn and Vets and of course lots of red wine to sample. Thats a Sunday, and its right in the middle of BlackBurn. The mail went on to say that the Plywood masters is to become a series of events for bumblies and pros alike. its a tenner to enter and you get Lancashire hotpot, and some other stuff which I've forgotten.
Sadly, I can't go as I will be being sick after mates birthday the night before.
