Capital letters in grades...
May 04, 2005, 10:18:09 pm
In Norway(other countrys to I guess) have started to use capital letters in bouldering grades (8A+) and small letters in climbing grades (8a+), when french grades is used...

Then we don`t have to guess or author don`have to explain what we are talking about...??

Possible???

Have a nice weekend...

Quite tricky to pronounce the difference though...

Or do you just whisper when it's lower case? Shhh, sport climbing is a bit rude...

Or perhaps Times New Roman for Trad routes with Arial for sport and the designers favourite, Courier New for bouldering grades ?

I do read uk magazines regular, and sometimes it is difficult to know what it is about...

And when we talk we wave our left ear when talking about sport climbing.

Its no wonder james would be 'off kilter' faced with the news that the mags are shit. He'll be wondering why he's got neil pearsons, alex messenger, dave plummanite etc on speed dial...
