Looking at family holiday there at the end of May, primarily biking, but why look a gift horse in the mouth.
I've seen pictures of somewhere called Varazze which looks awesome - sort of like Font. Anyone know where it is or of any bouldering near Finale ?

No I haven't been, just came across them surfing. It does all look very nice. Have a good holdiay!  :

i've bouldered at a place called Triora near Finale, its a Christian Core area, the climbing is pretty good but not outstanding, the setting is outstanding. We had a local topo but if you look on google there should be some info. The worst thing about the place is the nails grades which mean you come away a bit depressed.

sorry to post so late, but ive recently been to varazze and the place is awful.
i didnt feel like climbing for three days.
everything is an eliminate.
grades are foul.
rock is sharp and dangerous.
never go there again.

Thanks for posting that. Varazze had been on my list of possible family holiday venues as it seemed to offer a good combination of bouldering and beaches close-by. Now removed from the list.
