dried up significantly by mid day but by 7ish kudos was gopping again. massive puddle under caviar made the path unpassable without wellies. most routes around there wet apart from too old to be bold. cragx was totally soaked, no dry rock.

some summer  :fishing:

I also went for a paddle later on. Even the drier looking rock was wet. The base of the traverse wall is now under water and kudos is dripping so there's nothing left to climb

     See what happens when the lime-callers can't even decide who's in charge any more?

Has anybody got a searchlight in the shape of a crab? We need Harris!

Rubicon starting to suffer again today. Kudos wall was sticky damp with a few wet footholds. Zeke and caviar much wetter than a month ago. All the bouldering under rubicon was wet.

As of last night properly flooded to around 2 ft depth, no way to reach kudos wall which made no difference as it was soaked.

Kudos wall climbable today, bit hot in the sun though. Traverses may well have been dry but v muddy below so didn't check. :chair:
Crag X almost entirely wet but bizarrely all holds on Sean's Start were dry and would have been climbable if not for [insert excuse].

Amazingly good today, ground very muddy of course but the puddles all just about avoidable.
Kudos really good but for dampness in the odd pocket
OTBB dry but everything Leftwards wet (and teh ground flooded), HFC dry (but the high bolts covered in cobwebs, time to start blowing them away)
Couple of dry routes left of Rubicon between streaks, Sissy I think, the new 7a probably doable, Rubicon & Zetgeist looked ok too.
Bouldering under the roof ok I think but only felt the holds due to the muddiness, looks like there's been mats down though.
Really hope no trees were damaged to build the tree-branch patio beneath Rubicon.

Completely flooded today - never seen it as bad.
Crag X was soaked with run off.
Went home and sulked, only Bradley Wiggins can cheer me up.

was there today - if you don't mind getting your feet a little bit wet then kudos wall all dry.

Sean's Start, The Hulk, The Pinch, all doable. No boat necessary either, unlike Rubicon. I confidently predict whole crag dry tomorrow...

The place which shall not be named is totally fucked as of half an hour ago. Condensation though, so when it cools down will be ok.

Rubicon pretty good, although sweltering. Deep dark pockets wet and dank, but kudos wall stuff all totally climbable (if your skin can bear it). Routes wise, the sidepull on caviar looked dry although the hold after the gaston was fucked. Beluga looked possible, as did dangerous bros and the sissy. Tribes had wet bits on, but would probably be driable.

Kudos area dry last night and had the crag to myself. Slightly weird conditions, felt greasy but I never actually slipped so could it have been the legendary sticky damp!? Two biblical rain showers whilst I was there so there might some run-off today. Traverse area was wet and in a fairly miserable state, rubicon soaked, sissy prob do-able, warm-up wall to right ok.

I went there two nights ago and it had receeded massively. The ground was kinda spongey more than soggy. Still the odd pool though. Kudos all dry aswell - at the time.

Has today's rain ruined the ground beneath Rubicon for Saturday?

It was pretty muddy today but if you take something to stand on you might be ok.
