Any reports from this morning? My limeometer says could be condensed as it's humid and fairly windless out there - but would love to be wrong...

Not sure about Rubicon specifically but the Tor was in full agreement with your limeometer yesterday.

Went to Rubicon. Kudos wall ok and drying. Traverses all gopped out and minging. Apparently the tor was all wet this morning/lunchtime. Weather was clearing so may be some joy in the exposed bits but overall unfavourable.

How was the flooding? When we left yesterday it was flooded under Caviar

If anyone goes to Rubicon it would be great if they could report back on the state of the flooding under Caviar. On Tuesday it was pretty badly flooded

Oh btw - if you look on gaugemap (website for river gauges) there's one near ish which can give you a good indication of how high or not the river is - if that's the issue.

I doubt it's been tweaked in years. I know how it feels....

That's quite a bit drier than yesterday, plus there was a decaying dog turd under the traverses area which was crap

There were quite a few bits of dog shit in the path too (near the brewstop) which is quite unusual...

In other rubicon news....

An old lady asked me if I needed a spot yesterday...

And I was wondering why it's pronounced roob-ic-on rather than rub-ic-on??

I have probably spent too much time there this summer....

Any Rubicon conditions reports from today? Planning 90 min of disappointment tomorrow morning and wouldn’t want any dampness to stop me from failing [emoji45]

Only bit of dry rock I could find in the Peak today... Everything dry on Kudos except low right variations... on another note, does anyone know the reason for the work taking place at the mill side of the 'lake'? Couldn't believe it when I saw it today!

Micro hydro scheme. Turbines in the new building down near the mill - and the inlet and pipe  will run under the leat that runs next to the path.

Don’t bother today folks... seeps and runoff streaks all over. Some dry patches on Kidos wall, but not enough to have any lines clear. Surprised it was so gopping tbh.

Anyone got any idea what conditions might be like here this evening?
Will it have survived the rainfall yesterday? Or be a humid gopping mess?

Hard to say, it was primo two days ago, but I bailed from the P today (I know, totally different area) because it was like trying to climb on toothpaste. Humid as fuck!
