I've just spent nearly three weeks in St. Bees, less than 2 miles from some quality bouldering, and a combination of shit weather, finishing work at 7 and high tides has ruined all chances I had of getting out on the rock.  To say I'm gutted is an understatement.

To top it all off, the drive home past Wasdale and the possibility of an hour at the Stirrup boulders was ruined by a passing snow shower yesterday afternoon.  The weather in this country sucks.

Think of it as a blessing in disguise.

Noted, though wasdale was always going to be second best to St. Bees.

Talking about anoying things... has any1 completed a set of problems then came back say 20 mins later to the same ones unable to complete it again even though you already worked it out  .... this has never happend before, normaly once I know how to complete the climb I can do it more often then not...just anoyed me  probably got something to do with wearing your self out rather then being fresh from the start.
