Yo yo, heard about this - thought it might be useful to some of youse.

Apparently GAME and MVC are doing a deal where if you take 4 of your old PS2 games in (excluding, for some reason, wrestling and football games), you can trade them in and buy a brand new game for 99p.

Now this is a flava enough deal with shizzle like GT4 and MGS3 out, but it can be made more beneficial by going to cash converters / blockbuster (or anywhere that sells cheapo second hand PS2 games) - pick up 4 for a few quid each (think I've seen stuff for about £5 each), then do the above.

Hey presto - you've got GT4 for £20.99.

My poor old PS2 hasn't even been switched on since I got Halo 2 and XBL !

I'm just going to download GT4 - pretty much all my PS2 games were just downloaded using emule or bittorrent.

Get your PS2 chipped and never buy another game.

Yeah, had heard about getting some external hard drive and storing your stuff on that...sounded good but don't know if I play enough for it to be worth it - I'm still going no where near finishing GTA San Andreas after 3+months of playing!

Sell it and get an Xbox instead....they'll start discounting them soon because Xbox 2 will be out by xmas.

I was never an xbox fan but it is a superiour system and XBL kicks ass over Sony's crap online environment.

Alternativley buy a good pc and play better games faster online

Not as keen really - played Halo 1 on the PC, and more recently Doom 3 and Half Life 2.

HL2 was superb, but the online experience, good though it is, is still nowhwere near as good as Halo 2 on XBL.

Not sure what other games are better on the PC - all the best games I've played have been console based.

Xbox 2 is going to have a really heavy emphasis on live, and will be more powerful than most PCs anyway. Out in October
