Fook a moi, we went up to Burbage north this afternoon, I've never seen so many cars parked up there (well not on a Weds afternoon anyway). What's the deal there then???

in the only good 4 days on grit some people have been out in their spare time. unfortunately i have to pack for font tonight :8)

they are harvesting the heather from burbage to take to kinder scout (wi a heli) to try and combat the massive errosion thats happening around the edges of kinder i.e. all the peat is getting washed down the gullies at the edge .

Few thousand years and we should have a awesome grit edge all the way round - now that would be a good circuit.

Amazin. Reckon they could bring some of those virgin boulders back on the return trips??? Save all those gloryseekers having to add to the erosion to bag a new prob.
