Help with a song sample
January 07, 2005, 10:38:52 pm
When I was in Auz one of the radio stations (Triple J) played an album by a Scottish band called world without walls (I think).  I have tried to do a search for them with no luck, I've even looked at the Triple J playlist for that year and they are not there.  So maybe I have the name of the band wrong.

Anyway a sample of their music is used on Death in Vega's 'Hands around my throat'.  So if anyone owns this album could you have a look at the listing and see if there is any credit to this mystery band.  I'm sure they are Scottish and in a kinda punk vein

Cheers me dears

Dylan, the only samples mentioned in the inlay are ''Rock around the clock' by Telex and 'Whitewater' by Tortoise.

I think you might be thinking of 'Life without buildings'

Superb! Isn't the T'internet fantastic.
It amazing how you attach certain music to certain times and places.  I managed to track down all the other music that I was listening to in my wheelchair!

Thanks very much Obi-Wan I owe you a beer.  How did you know?
