Just got one of my big ticks for the year, had a surfing session before work. Waves were only 2 ft or so, but it was great to be out, on my own (only other person left as I was getting in). Warm sun, light offshore breeze.

I am mostly getting spanked on low/sit down start to bigger splash at the rubicon. Never has linking 3 moves been so hard! ie pull on, fall off. pull on next move, fall off. pull on next move and slap jug. my knuckles have grown ten fold in two weeks.

Bit of a late entry this, but still got half the 2005 season to go, so...

to start, one I've done, but was on the list before that, honest!
Ram Air, Ramshaw - sweet! bit of wind meant still doable in may
Tierdrop, Ramshaw - nearly, just need to commit bit more to the slap
Tetris, Fourth Cloud - waiting for cooler conditions, but reckon if I can almost do it july...
Cocoa Team Special, Rylstone - inspired by latest friction issue
Take it Easy, Font - always thought this looked great, and doable. Hopefully will be fit enough to give it a decent go
Big Boss, Font - So fuckin nearly last time, can't let all that effort go to waste
Also go to north devon coast and climb a bit

Cocoa Team Spesh is a long drive and a long walk to struggle on something that looks so desperate and scary.

lots of other good stuff round there, though don't bother if you're the sort that enjoys sit-starts. The main problem with CTS is the hideous pocket you have to pull on to get to the lovely jamming crack.
