They're not my pics to do that with, so it'd be a bit naughty to do that - we're only linking to them on other sites this way, which is cool...although some sites have given us grief for it.

you guessed correctly with the first one - and the others were errrm....smartboys for the direct link to the Malc pic and bleau.info who didn't actually complain, but just stopped us linking.

I can see their point, as bandwidth costs money, and it does prevent the need to visit the original site (though, I always right-click on a good pic, and visit that site anyway) and I've had to block one guy who was using a 130kb pic as an avatar in a different forum but hey, I like to share where possible and some of the ukb pics with the most hits have been the ones posted to boldering.com.

That said, I must check my server logs a bit more often as linking direct to videos can cripple bandwidth, but then that's a different matter entirely imho.
