i want a project for the winter!
December 14, 2004, 05:32:55 pm
gonna be going back home to sunny colwyn bay this weekend for the christmas break - been flicking through the new guide a lot whilst on the loo - there's so much - wondering if anyone had an idea of a decent project around the v6 mark -  looking for something thats a crimpy wall i reckon or a traverse would be nice if it hasnt got a horrible stopper move!
peace out

Crimpy wall: The limpet, V6 and ace, or the edge problem SDS, V6 and ok.
Traverse: Fear of a slopey Planet, V6 and ace (no stopper moves).

Yes I would say we are.

Birdie is probably a golfing term, closely related to "hole in one"?

But anyway, as soon as I get all this work nailed (friday) I'll be off to try the Boneyard at Caseg ffraith(sp?), which is a quality spot BTW.

Lipstick in Parasellas is a quality problem. Think it is V6.

Ey up tom, popcorn party is kinda of a crimpy wall and ace to boot.

How about Jerry's Wall opposite the Ynys Ettws entrance (i.e. below Carreg Wastad) - mistakenly given V8 in't guide, but reckoned to be V6/7.

That's yer crimpy wall, but for a traverse you've got loads of choice - I reckon Cave Route at the Roadside Face is as good as any and nearly always in nick. If you want something a bit more eclectic, how about Born in Gateshead at Porth Ysgo or Sundowner in the Pass.

So many classics, so little time...

theres no need for that english boy

im psyched for tommorow instead though rhys - a week later but nevermind - i wont bring any of that stuff this time - proved to be a little counter productive really, especially when the paranoia set in gettin back from the caseg - and my rab has still got loads of those thorns in it from when i bailed by that other river if you're interested gruff - grim.......

im up for the faeces thing if you can find out where addidas boy lives - but a trip up to the meadow sounds SAFE  - i havent been up there for ages - ill call u in a bit! if we go up there though try and bring a coat and rations and plenty of fags and a mobile phone and a lamp and anything else for such a harsh journey.
