Irish Bouldering Meet
December 07, 2004, 03:14:05 pm
Is planned for the 11/12/13th of March in the IMC hut in Glendasan (a few minutes from Glendalough). Last year was a great sucess with 60+ boulderers out. Good sessions as well.

Had a great time at the first meet (even though I was full of fluey cold). I'd recommend it to anyone - those Irish lads and lasses are a scream!

And the climbing is top dollar too.

Good on ya Dave for pulling it together again.

Good job, I missed the last one due to house moving aggro, I'll probably be driving and have space for a couple of bodies.

This may give me the incentive to get below 12 stone.

This is tempting, even though I am away the weekends before and after. If we got a flight in to Dubin, is there busses or anything to Wicklows?

There is the Aircoach to the city centre and then St Kevins bus to Glendalough.

There is a space in the hut for about 40 squashed people and a garden to camp in.

OH MY GOD!!!

Thats your life at an abrupt halt then!

Lets hope it's a couple of weeks late, an April Fool isn't a bad price to pay for a weekends bouldering.

Actualy he did, but we were so excited as we were walking up to our latest project crag, lots of roofs, that it kind of became insignificant in all the glory that is esoteric bouldering.

I think that would be grand. Get in touch closer to the time to arrange it properly.
