Little drone clip of Echo Wall on Instagram, gives a more appealing-looking angle on the route than the FA film (or at least how I remember it). Look forward to seeing more footage.

No... I thought it looked quite attractive with the sun catching the arete. Not appealing as in I want to climb it like.

The indepth description of the route is geekily great.

Sounds like it comes in at hard E11 which is jolly sensible.

I really wonder whether a rescue from Echo wall would take longer than from eg Chee Tor or Two Tier. The mountain rescue in Fort William is active and experienced. They have rescue helicopters very close.

I'm just contrasting how long a rescue took from Cheedale Cornice (many hours) versus high up a face in Mt Blanc massif (minutes).

The experience of the team might be a lot less relevant than the immediate availability of a helicopter. In that regard, Lochaber is not Chamonix.
