I just got a phone call from a mate in Font saying its piss wet and he hasnt a clue where to go, can any of you lot shed any light on good bouldering apart from Font preferably in the north or if not further south. Maybe Annot?

There is some granite bouldering on the Brittany coast. CJD is the man to ask about it, he wrote an article for the mags on it some time ago.

Yep, think it's in Provence - The Flan has been there a couple of times and would be able to help, but I think it could be pretty snowy at this time of year as it's quite high up.

thanks, yer it is in the south but if the weather is really bad theyre going to scarpa further south...cheers all so far

I've been there, its pretty good but I don't think it'd be worth going in the winter

Annot is about 70km north of Nice. Not nearly as extensive Font but on a par quality wise. Most of the problems are in the 5/6/7 (Font) area. We were there in January the year before last and it was grand, perfect blue skies with some snow in the shade, the road was icy which made it harder to get to the higher areas but there was still plenty to keep us going.

saussios has polished lime sport routes.  near auxerre i tink
