Been looking into creating some extra car parking space at an office on a semi-permanent basis by putting down some mesh or interlocking grids on a lawn.

Anyone got any experience of this and can advise on installation, products etc

Yes, loads of it but I'm away for this week so don't have access to my HDD and datasheets.

They're pretty simple really, you'll be looking at a geotextile fabric between the subgrade and the cell material (this stops fines migrating into your stone) and then a graded stone.

Thickness depends on the subgrade (usually based on a CBR but could likely be judged by someone competent) and what you expect to traffic the area. This is obviously after topsoil strip.

If you're thinking less permanent than this you can get track mat systems that they use at festivals but expect this to be expensive.

I have a sneaky suspicion it was this I used last time. Chances are you might be able to get away with the 40?
