The 2 stand out features for us is 1 - the carry system, full backpack style with waist and sternum strap as standard, adjustable height and shoulder adjustment to get the weight over the hips and 2 - the stacking feature. as Standard both pads have longer straps over the back so you can easily piggyback pads, a simple solution for those who carry lots of pads or like me have no mates to carry other pads!
