Sending a big thing to US
December 16, 2022, 11:57:30 am
Bit of a random one…Anybody got any knowledge on this?
I’ve got an item I’d potentially like to send to the US (Palm Springs) It’s round(ish) about 2.3m diameter and 30cm deep. Weighs approx 40kg. Value about £2.5k (so will be import taxes to pay).
I don’t need fast shipping, just reliable and sensibly priced.
I’ve googled and sent out a few enquiries but just wondering if anyone here has any real world experience/recommendations.
Thanks

Paul B

Moon gate?

I've got no direct experience of the USA but when sending  a significant amount of holds to the south of France I used P4D based on a recommendation from a hold supplier. They appear to also do the US of A.

Yes.

Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll give them a try.

I’ve had good experiences with DHL, inc buying an expensive mirror from China.
