I watched westie do that again about three weeks ago and I'd be impressed by anyone who can get up it.

A few from the weekend:

On Y2K V5 at the Trenches. Cool problem. 13 moves through a cave on good holds to a slopey finish which was nice in the 30 degree heat.

From the top:

Match the slopes:

Agent Smith on Black flag V3:

I did black flag whe I was there about 4 years ago, nice little prob! Did the cavey bit of Y2K, but didnt top it out as I was matless and it felt mega slimy. Has the rock been cleaned a bit more, was pretty dirty when I was there.

Its a bit dirty in places and theres loads of these orb spinner spiders, that have a habit of sticking their webs at head height across the paths so you tend to walk into 'em unless you wave the 'blessing' stick. But its probably a lot cleaner than when you were there although some probs need a bit of a brush up. A good little area tho' with a font like feel.

Shame you didn't do the finish as thats the best bit. Theres an awesone V10 next to it called Mr Winston with a cool backwards throw. I'll have a bash at that in the winter.

Had the pleasure of doing the 2nd ascent of Mr Winston, did it with double toe jams for the crux, great prob, solid font 7b .

Would concur with Bonjoy's assessment of the grade. V8 with or without them fancy toe-hooks.

If you want something a bit more challenging try my extension (Arcane Power - V9/10?) that cuts right after the crux for a bit more roof action before broaching the headwall for a little sting in the tail.
