Well it's springtime in the garden here and the mrs sent me out to capture a few highlights, particularly as her orchids are putting on a speccie show this year so I'm going to stick them on here as I think they're OK for 15 minutes work with a borrowed camera.

back spasm, couldn't get off the floor, had to be pumped full of morphine. was quite good actually (the morphine that is)

Not good! Mine did that a fair bit after I fucked it skiing, but luckily not as severe. I daren't ask what you were doing that caused it. Hope it sorts itself out, I recommend Yoga. If that's not what caused it in the first place.

I've had that a few times, usually precipitated by landing a bit hard. Though once was lifting a pan out of the cupboard. Pretty grim for the first couple of days.

Apologies for the digression, but has anyone ever developed sciatica from too many hard landings? A friend of mine got it and he was convinced it was from going off jumps on a dry slope. After my ski accident they gave me an MRI scan and said I had a compressed vertebra in my lower back, but it looked like an old injury, and said it was probably caused by a high impact landing at some point in the past.

just muscle spasm in lumber for me, all checked over by the doc in A & E, given loads of drugs and sent home, no long term problems hopefully as only muscle damage.
Tremadol certainly helps me get about a bit more

I get sciatica occasionally. I hadn't linked it to hard landings before, but does seem to be linked to the back spasms so I guess so.
