These were my first thoughts when seeing the picture too...

Then I remembered this was UKB

I like the way it looks like he starts it as a swan dive then bottles and goes in feet first. By the size and direction of that splash I don't recon he quite got it right and had a pretty rough landing!

I'm guessing you mean the big gap between position 9 an 10? My guess is that the camera slowed down fractionally.

I thin he accelerated, and shutter intervals are constant throughout.
