These two shots brought back some great memories of the summer in California.

First, El Capitan at night - spot the line of The Nose

And a final shot of Lembert Dome before Tuolumne Meadows shuts for the winter.

Shame about the journalistic talents of the reporter who obviously never gets out from behind his desk and thinks that anything thats more than 1mile from the nearest Starbucks qualifies for the tag "Extreme"

. I'd imagine there are various rapids around the world that are far more "extreme"/dangerous.

Wicked, wad points to those guys. Headline should have been "Kayakers' 300ft dam drop praised". Looks well fast and I like the jump at the end. Doesn't look that dangerous - if anyone's seen the waterfall drops on the 80s Birth Of Extreme DVD, they look far, far worse.

Anyone up for taking a dingy there next spring??
