Very compliant models on those shots.

Here are some interesting pics, they look like your usual shots from the Space Shuttle/Station, but a group from Oklahoma State University boxed up a Pentax k10d, tied it to a big fuck-off balloon and let it float up into the sky.  Got to around 104000ft (about 20 miles) and snapping various pictures along the way.  Apparently got to -60C and almost vacuum like conditions and the camera worked fine.  More info in the Pentax forums.  Don't think I'll be sending my dSLR up into space any time soon.
