They made a mistake photographing it with a wideangle, makes the join far more obvious than in the colour one.

That was my mistake, wasn't wide-angle, just a shitty point-and-shoot and shot through a viewing hole (hence the vignetting).

The illusion of 3d, made with old stereo cards, those old photographies from the 19th century that contained two different views of the same subject to give the illusion of depth. He converts them into pseudo-3D GIF images which can be seen without glasses, in your monitor. [Stolen from Giz]

i can't believe this has been up for 2 hours and no one has offered "anyone for danny's?". you boys are getting slack.

Genius!

Perhaps because its 'too warm to climb' at the mo and dense 'won't be climbing til july'? Haven't seen any decrease in the rate of protein shake though, or beans on toast for that matter. Is that what they call training?

I'm always a sucker for a nice sunset.

A few from the village I live in

Check the sky out on this one, taken tonight

Two shots of St.Johns in the Vale from my parents farm, not a bad view to wake up to for 16 years you'll agree

The lovely Derwent Water

And finally some from Ireland last year

Hardly real quality but the expression on this dog's face as it decides too late to abandon jump is fucking funny

How come he's got a little tartan cape on? Is this a new fashion in the dog world I've missed?

It's not a cape, it's a bandana, all the cool pups are wearing them.  ;)
