Given this is only 35 quid rather than double that for other brands, seems like a bargain. Does anyone have any experience of using them, able to say if they are any good or not?

I bought one in may from kong running for £17ish+p&p- seemed too good not to give it a go - may be worth seeing if they still have them there*?

I don't have much experience as I just use it occasionally for bouldering, but for my needs it seems to be working perfectly well. It doesn't seem that different to my friend's sportiva pad which I have tried once and is about 4 times the price...

The Red Chilli pad doesn't tend to stay on my leg very well but I have muscular legs that taper down towards the knee. I ripped part of the stitching on mine just by pulling it up my leg, but its still functional. I also have the sportiva pad and the 3 strap Send pad. The send is my favourite, followed by Sportiva, then the Red Chilli. I can knee bar things in the Send that I can't kneebar in the others.

I've since sold mine on because every time I tried to use it in anger it fell off.

We have one. I like the closure system, it's comfortable on the back of the knee compared to other designs, and cinches in securely if you do it right (took a bit of practice). However, the rubber was not thick or sticky enough for my tastes and I would often ditch it in favour of a send pad. I have now sewn an extra layer of rubber on and it's performing much better. I'd say it is a good pad for the price, but send pads are definitely more useful for advanced kneebars if you can afford them.
