Just a quick one - I'm due to head out to Spain for a month next year (fingers crossed) and part of the deal is I have to do an online CAD course whilst I'm out there. So I need to have good internet connection from 10am to 4pm (Spanish Time) Monday-Wednesday to do this course... any beta on where I'd easily find this? There is Goma2 in Cornudella but that is closed on Mondays and then closes at 1pm.

I ask as working off the former using some kind of a dongle I think I could get away with but for the latter two I think you might end up in a whole world of pain.Work provide me with a silly Alienware laptop and sat in the same room as our server yesterday some operations allowed me enough time to go and make a brew whilst it contemplated life.
This is run by a mate of mine who lives there, I can message him?https://www.basquemtb.com/
Standard AutoCAD - It is the essentials course as I haven't used CAD before - its been many years since I've worked on a computer at all to be honest!
another option would be hiring a cheap airBnB with wifi for those 3 days - which might be the lowest stress option and allow for me to be somewhere I can concentrate.

We did a course in LT at Uni and I didn't use it for quite some time (latest job) and despite CAD now having 'ribbons' more akin to what you find on other pieces of software, I still find myself tending back towards text commands. It's amazing how far you can get with "PL" and a few other basic commands. I'm having to deliver my first project in C3D this week and the learning curve is STEEP!I'm being nosey now but why the change? I moved from a massive consultancy (global) to a specialist (~5ppl) where there basically isn't enough time/margin/CAD work to warrant using technicians. Initially I was pretty skeptical but I quite like it these days.

And I’m not known for opening my wallet when I don’t have to! But if it’s absolutely essential you have to log on then I’d probably still want a backup option in case the internet turned out to be shit.Having recently done a month or so of remote training on Zoom there’s no way I would have wanted to do it in a shared space or in the back of a van stressing about connection and battery life.
Nosey parker!! Good question though

Ive just had a thought. I have a mate in Cornu who rents a small room out on a per night basis. Could be an option if you want to flit back and forth between van and house.

If for any reason it doesn't work out, there's always a shortage of good CAD technicians and I've seen those who specialise in 3D stuff (both C3D and Revit) making a ridiculous amount on a contract basis. We even had one engineer decide he didn't like the stress of directly managing project work moving into C3D work and he's far happier (and also VERY good).
