Thread for listing books you no longer want and are happy to give away. Postage / transfer arrangements down to the individuals; I'd be happy to pay a few quid if recipient plays forward, or makes a nominal donation to local Mountain Rescue for example.

And no critique of books on offer, it's a broad church; from Roger Hargreaves to Marcel Proust.

I'll have a look tonight and add a few.

We set up a book exchange in the park next to our flat.



It looks a bit empty there, but so far we've seen a really good churn of books. The 3 hour argument with one of the "difficult" neighbours after we'd concreted it in "without consent" (we knew they'd be difficult, so went for the "beg forgiveness" approach...

Word. Theres one 5 mins from my house, once ive worked through a load of inherited books I will be all over it.
