Appreciate that help, tactics are something I've got experience with having spent alot of time in in Europe bouldering when it's hotter than would be ideal but I have not done much in the UK outside of the classic crags, where does everyone go in summer? Don't tell me we all pretend to enjoy sport climbing till it gets cold again? 😂

As others have said, as long as it's windy you can still have good conditions.

Can I just say how impressed I am that following a request for summer grit picks, the consensus is that the OP should get himself to a random grotty quarry out near Doncaster to climb a limestone arete!

If you've never climbed on Sunset Wall...
