Almost certainly preaching to the converted, but I noticed today that an off-piste path seems to be developing that goes direct from dogs dinner buttress to the railway path. No idea if it's climbers or people just hopping over the wall from a quick look at the rocks, but it'd be good to have a quick word if you spot anyone using the dodgy approach and pointing them to the approved approach instead (down the stairs, right turn at the bottom then hop over the fence by the bridge).
The approved approach takes literally 2 mins so seems a shame to potentially jeopardise access to some of the best lime in the peak (chee dale that is, not dogs dinner specifically!)
