I'm on the way but am going to need a guide (person, not book) - I've had a total of five incredibly brief sessions in Font and have no idea where to begin! Who's up for it?

I'm going straight to Rocher des Potets to do the yellow and the orange circuits without a break. Just to get myself used to moving again.

Nipping to Carrefour for a coffee and PaC for breakfast plus baguette, Lemon Yop, saussicon, anchois piquant, some madeleines, some stinky cheese and a slab of tiny beers to get through the day. Anyone need anything else?

Probably stop in Decathlon for some chalk, expect to leave with a kite, a frisbee, some socks and a cheap fleece.

Well that's Chris out of action for most of the rest of today...

Just giving Footwork a masterclass on L'Angle Ben's at the moment.

He was complaining about his shoes being too baggy, yet I've now done it barefoot, in socks, in sandals, in his shoes, and in some 7 foot German guy's shoes (cheers Hans). Maybe Footwork had one too many Pelforths yesterday.

Anyway, I'm just nipping over to Karma now, but we've left a Paris-Brest on top of Ben's for Footer's to get when he eventually tops it, but if you're quick you might beat him to it :2thumbsup:

The beers are to last the rest of the week. The rest is fuel.

I'm just following andy_e's chalk up Misericorde, having been delighted last night to discover the Cuisiniere parking is open and bivying on my pads

I'm meeting Marc Le Menstrel at Potala, welcome to join us.

Ta very much for the kind offer but, weirdly, Potala is one of the tiny handful of places I've been to. I think I'll join Lagers at Potets, where I will potter.

Has he tried really squeaking his boots? Allez, Ben!

Sorry chaps, bit delayed - flew out in the end from Leeds Bradford, and it's taken a while sorting out picking up my rental:

Will be heading out to Cuisiniere to re-engage with my nemesis:

If I don't send I'd give me a wide berth at the gite later. I'll probably be in a full "Ben Moon in One Summer" strop.

Just at Black 34. Making progress. Thought it'd go quicker than this.

As luck would have it, we’re staying in a small place in The Marais for the week. We’re mainly here for the Nina Stemme/Stefan Vinke/Jonas Kaufmann Ring Cycle at the Opéra Bastille. Daniel Barenboim had to cancel but, amazingly, Bernard Haitink has agreed to come out of retirement to conduct. Travelling by Eurostar so no car but I can easily get the train from the Gare de Lyon out to Fontainebleau Avon or Thomery if someone can pick me up from one of those. The Dame Jouanne Mauve Circuit might be a bit of an ask as I need to be on the 2pm train for curtain up at 4pm. I’ll be happy anywhere with a yellow or orange circuit. I’ll bring the jetboil.

I'm on my way over Andy, but was delayed as the scooter needed an oil and the Cape and offwidth hat were still in the dryer.

Will nicked it off me and has left it balancing precariously on the start hold of Karma.

Tell you what, I'll nip over and demonstrate (casually) if I can get a few pads under number 26 in exchange?

Always wanted a go in that, I'll come find you later on. Looks like it is staying cool all day, might be a bit of a breeze later.

Sounds good - have you got some of your saussicon, madeleines, and tiny beers left? Only had time for a pain au choc en route in the Peugeot.

Skin's holding up, but my feet are starting to hurt. Gonna take these shoes off for a bit.
