Never been (apart from climbing Jean Genie when I was a kid).

What are the conditions like in winter please? Climbable now?

It's a winter crag in my opinion, the shelter stone can be absolutely baking hot in summer.

Thanks for the advice guys, unfortunately im not a F8 climber, it would actually be my first 7C. I dont want to completely sandbag myself however im very local to trow and down there a lot and with the favourable conditions there it seems like a good goal! Sounds like enough of you short arses have managed it so i guess i  have no excuses! Will try and get a power spot next time im down there with some pals to feel the position see if its a go!  :2thumbsup:

Oof! 😂

(It’s disappointing but true - and Pit Problem has taken a hit down to 7B..)

Exactly.... But that would make it 7B.

Vitruvian is a perfect example of how subjective grades are. I've climbed loads of 7C's but can't touch this one. Was very dismayed when I saw the downgrade! It's powerful, knacky and scary. Would still love to do it, but it's far less tempting at 7B+, not that I'm a grade chaser or anything ;)

Agreed. Trying to assign it a single grade applicable for all climbers is impossible.

Hmm, even less sure about those grapes now ;)
