Kyloe not so in the woods.

Thought some of you might be interested in the tree felling work at Kyloe. The crag now sports hipster bald on top with a bushy beard look.

Looks a bit savage but think it’s the best thing to happen to it for years. Will allow loads of stuff to stay clean that used to get done a lot but had gone back to nature.

Ah nice, we were there when the forestry people were doing a tour or the required works and the local contact was explaining the managers ‘yes apparently this is quite important to the climbers, they have a name for each little bit of rock and they put videos in the internet’ 😄

Be interesting to see how quickly the small pines grow at the top again.

Looks like a totally different place.

Interesting to see what happens to conditions etc. Obviously less shade, but might pick up more wind now?

Also be great to top out of some of these lines.
