Masson Lees Parking
July 27, 2020, 11:02:55 am
Just a heads up to keep parking considerate if you're heading to masson lees.

My partner was climbing there over the weekend and reported bumping in to a pretty irate farmer who was trying to squeeze his tractor in between inconsiderately parked cars. It sounded like the farmer was polite but understandably annoyed at the situation, particularly as cars were parked in passing places right down the road.

I read the thread. Too much pressure on too few spots....

Though the govt had waived planning permission for landowners/farmers to turn their land into campsites for up to 36 days of this year... (anyone with a big garden and wanting to make a few quid??)

In some ways it’s good that people are getting out and experiencing the outdoors that they might never do - but of course they need to know how to act. I think many people have an expectation that things will be cleared up after them.

The camping section of Decathlon looked like it had been looted mid week...
