Hi,

Off to Finale at Easter, and after a guidebook. Anyone have one they'd like to offload?

Cheers

Word of warning incase you've not been before. When I was there 2-3 years ago the free campsite (the one opposite the excellent pizza place) was a bit rundown with no working toilet. So the place was littered with human crap - literally 5m in to the trees. Might be a lot better now but probably worth having a contingency plan if that was where you were planning to stay!

I always thought it was weird that that place was left to rot, seems like it could be an absolute gold mine.

Don't want to put you off though, its a great place to go climbing!

Thanks for the heads up. I stayed there years ago and it was quite nice! We've got a kid in tow now though, so will be living in luxury in an Airbnb

Any top tips on toddler friendly crags? Preferably with a perfect mix of good low 6's and 7's

Yeah, I first stayed there about 8 years ago I think and it was pretty good then. Was disappointed that it had got so bad when I returned. Thinking about it now, there was a flushing toilet there but people still crapped in the woods! I think I was probably most disappointed that people simply can't be trusted to look after a place if there isn't someone keeping an eye on things.
