The peak district is in an absolutely terrible state at the moment anyway,  flooded fields everywhere,  badly damaged roads and a fair amount of property damage. A big freeze certainly wont improve matters...

I’m trying to avoid a Daily Fail/Express type “Snowmagedon” prediction.
Because everything might change.
However, should the trend continue, those from the South, prepare for arctic conditions and stay at home.
Those in the North, you will probably have to get your big coat out of the loft.

I don’t think I ever read any of those articles. It’s just hard to miss the ridiculous headlines, or the constant stream of people telling me all about those articles.

All much funnier after a few seasons of “Game of Thrones”; because you just nod sagely, and reply in your most dramatic intonation “Winter is coming”.
Then wink.
