[Yorkshire][Almscliff][North-Western Front]

Haven't heard of this being done before but it is Almscliff…

North-Western Front E6 6c
The arete to the left of the Western Front crack.
Climb Western Front to the jugs over the lip. Make a few moves left to below the left-hand crack of the inverted V. Pull up to undercuts in the crack and then crimp and struggle up the arete above (using holds on left of arete) Easy romping to top. I placed a couple of cams in the right hand crack of the inverted V and then climbed back to the ground - it would be possible to place these on lead without going off route (from the jugs on lip) but I needed all the help I could get so downclimbed for a rest.

I've graded this within the Almscliff rules that there can be nothing above E6 or 6c at the crag. I found it quite snatchy but there were also a couple of extended moves and I don't want Steve Dun to come and repeat it and think I am shit/overgrader.

And thus Almscliff implodes, as the last route to possibly be done gets done :)

Sounds good actually, any pics?
