We'll have to talk Doyle out of bouldering all the grit E8s when he gets back!

I don't reckon that'll take very long!

It's the big green slab to the left of the Pebble Wall/Syrett's Saunter slab.  V10.

most of those in the peak article are routes.if you fell/jumped from the top of oedipus, you'd be lucky to walk away even with a mat to land on.i get the feeling these articles are about saying look at me" i'm so brave i consider these routes mere boulder problems."

Yer Jokin' ? Oedipus in a highball artricle FFS! Why put in a route length route with a crux at the top which requires either down-soloing, traversing off over dodgy ground to down solo a polished HVS crack, or soloing up a high HVS and down a blind VS  . There are so many brilliant highballs on the Eastern Edges that never get the attention they deserve in the mags and the article goes for the same old same old, how fucking predictable. Flashy picture and telling people what they already know wins out over quality informative content yet again. How many threads have there been on here singing the praises of brilliant little known gems which deserve to become classics, how hard is it to read and take note of some of this?? Am I jumping the gun here? What other climbs are in the article?

Thats my point, only being a rural yorkshire boulderer as opposed to an Urban sheff dude, I failed to put my finger on the point as I dont know the peaks that well.

Webbo, you are thinking of "The Unreachable Star", highball V4-ish. Brilliant little thing. This is the kind of thing they *should* be putting in.
