Anybody done this? What did you do at the top? I got to the ledge, played about with some crimps on the wall above, decided I didn't want to die, and escaped right into the chimney (hard and scary in its own particular way).
There are some crimps above the ledge, and I did pull up on them and put my toe on a smeary edge but there didn't seem to be anything above to go to, and the landing at that point is terrible.
Were you just braver and better back in the day, Webbo?

According to the guide it’s a modern route 1986  :lol: done by  Bill Turner a mate of Mad Angus ( Iain Edwards) They were a pretty bold team who seemed to think if you had to lead a grit route rather than solo it. You were a bit of a failure.
