i like the feeling when your feet pop and your arms don't move an inch. :wink:

i also really i like the movement and creativity of it as a sport. but most of all i like the strength aspect of it. thats what i'm really into. i also love training hard and setting goals and making small sacrifices knowing that it will help u in the long run etc

i often wonder what i'd be doing with my life if i didn't boulder. scary.

this is the wall i campus up and down. on the yellow route without matching. i like the feeling when i get to the top of that in total control and style, while the hot fitness instructors from the gym look on in awe :

I started bouldering becuase it was a different aspect to leading.  I  boulder now because I enjoy doing the hard moves and pushing myself.  I also climb alone quite a bit after work, so it's what I have to do if I want to do any climbing.  You can get a lot more done bouldering than leading espcially if you're stuck for time.  I like the fact I can go to to somewhere and do lots of great problems in many different styles, where every move is good.  

It's a bit more sociable as well, because you talk to the other people you've gone with more and have to rest a bit more.

Plus it doesn't make your neck hurt from looking up all the time.

Fair enough Foam, I wouldn't be bothered about breaking a leg if I didn't use them for climbing either.
