From Bolton Abbey estate website:
Barden Moor and Barden Fell Open Access Areas will be closed to the public from Wednesday, 27th June 2018, due to the risk of fire, following the sustained period of hot and dry weather we are enjoying. This decision has been taken by the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority and the Bolton Abbey Estate to safeguard these important parts of the West Nidderdale, Barden and Blubberhouses Moors Site of Special Scientific Interest.
Notices informing the general public of the closure have been posted at all 22 access points onto Barden Moor and Barden Fell, on the Estate website, social media, and circulated to press.
Un-controlled moorland fires can be catastrophic wiping out moorland fauna and flora for years. As the nation has seen on Saddleworth Moor, a wildfire can cause significant and widespread damage which supports the decision of this closure.

Given what's going on on t'other side of the Pennines, this is probably a wise choice. If the drought continues until 12th of September there will be  a serious test of loyalties though!
