Salbitschijen guidebook
June 27, 2018, 08:18:44 am
I am going to Val di Mello on Friday and was also thinking of driving up to Salbitschijen at some point. I have the Salbit erleben guidebook but it isn't very detailed. Just wondered if anyone in Sheffield had a more detailed guidebook that I could borrow at short notice to photocopy some pages from?

Many thanks.

I may be able to help if you get no joy with anyone more local.

Send me a DM with your email if it’s the westgrat you’re heading to. I have detailed notes and pics of the topo saved on my phone (also roger schaeli posted them on Instagram in last 24 hours)

Don't think there is a better guidebook than 'Salbit Erleben'. A selection of the same (or slightly less detailed) topos are also featured in the Filidor guidebooks (Extrem Ost, Plaisir Ost).

The little red guide is the most comprehensive available. They sell it at the hut for 20chf if you can’t find a copy.
