Recently became self employed and now need to navigate the quagmire of contracting for multiple clients. I've been told I need to be wary of IR35 so need to decide to either go down the path of using an Umbrella company or possibly go Ltd. Someone recommended Brookson (one of the big accountant firms) but have read mixed reviews so also considering someone local. Are any business accountants likely to be up on this stuff or do I need to go to someone specialist? James Halliday is local to me which may be useful, also heard there is someone out in Bamford who is good to work with.
