Out of interest Dave, how do these compare to Dragons? Do you wear 8s in these usually? Is the toe box wide?

The tie box is wider on the instinct lace. I actually wear a 9 in the dragons. I really like the instinct laces fir limestone but not sure what they would be like on a roof, where dragons are perfect

No Dave, I think you'll find a pair of Anasazi Velcros in a UK 6 would be perfect on him. Or any Onitsuka Tiger trainers in a UK 7.

Good shout Tom - I should add that Adidas Gazelles in size 10, ideally in burgundy or mustard colour, would be well worth a try.
