September 17, 2017, 09:46:33 am
My van is up, need something bigger... open to offers! On ebay for £3500. Cheers

Very mechanically solid T4 with 12 months mot. Conversion by myself. Owned it for 4 years and bought from a friend who was a mechanic. Selling due to an expansion in family size and needing to up size, otherwise I would keep it!
This van has been brilliant, fantastic setup and it has never let me down.

The good...

Smev 9222 l/h cooker hob & sink unit, immaculate condition.
Pumped tap & 15 litre water storage.
Captains passenger seat.
Home made rock and roll bed frame. Used a standard ikea futon mattress this isn't included.
Home made storage units. Made from plywood, solid, only a couple of years old. Unique work top opening into food/utensil cupboard... Very useful for easy access.
Half height worktop gives a far more roomy feel than the standard T4 camper setup.
Overhead cupboard.
Dark grey carpet, plywood lined and insulation.
Low output ceiling lights.
Fluorescent cooker light.

12 months Mot.
£600 just spent on it... New exhaust, new front tyres, power steering pipework renewed, brake pipework renewed, new hand break cable.
New Break pads & discs done 4 years ago. Track rod ends & anti roll bar bushes done around 4 years ago. Steering arm bush done 4 years ago. So that's a lot of the standard maintainable parts done.
Oil changed every 10000 miles.
As far as I am aware there is nothing immanent that needs doing. Everything works sweetly, gearbox, clutch, brakes, steering, turbo, all bob on. I take the kids out in it so I've wanted it 100%.
As with all 1.9td's this pulls really well! I have religiously not driven over 70mph, cruising around 65mph on motorways which gives at least 40mpg. But should you need it, it will still pull hard if you put your foot down.

Lowered suspension and Audi alloys.
Sliding side windows and rear window all privacy tinted.

The bad...
A few spots of rust, mainly around the rear wheel arch and along the bottom of the sliding door. These have been stabilised as such with undercoat or hammerite. You could easily live with them as I have done, or a few hours of a good body work technician would sort.
The body work in general is in excellent condition, resprayed blue at some point in its life, which no doubt has helped keep it in good nick.
Sliding door handle cracked and a bit temperamental.
