So taking full family camping gear on a flight.  Fairly well set up already with lightweight kit but pillows are presenting us with a problem.

We've always just put out own fave pillows in the car,  but obviously space is an issue.

Got a couple of decathlon things that have an inflatable insert.  But they are small, 'bouncy' and generally a bit crap.

Any recommendations as I really want to sleep well on my 2 week holiday rather than get back wrecked.

Take a pillow case and pack it with clothes / down jacket / towels for a luxury camping pillow.

We got the kids those cuddly toy pillows, as they can take them on a flight as a toy and not luggage. I think they're called "Pillow pets" or similar.
Otherwise, just take your pillow in a compression-sac as carry on.
Have also just gone and bought them in a supermarket, on arrival, before and left them behind on departure.

I always do this with a stuff sack. I've never thought "I wish I'd brought a pillow".

The bouncy Decathlon ones are less bouncy if you throw a jumper over them. Might be worth a go.

Cheers for the replies guys.. so just the usual tried and tested.  I've always gone for the big pile of clothes/towels method which is ok for a night or two but I tend to suffer from cricked necks etc.. reckon buying a cheap on on arrival might be the answer.

I find piles of clothes or stuff thrown in a stuff sack to be absolutely shite for sleeping on. I can feel every single zip, button or seam through the entire pile.

These days  I've got some kind of cheap thing that is like a small but very thick thermarest as a pillow. It's ok, but last time I was in Outside they had some really good looking camping pillows, might have been these http://www.outside.co.uk/shop/Aeros+Premium+Pillow

I recently got a naturehike pillow from Aliexpress. Really great and packs away tiny. I always bring a pillow can't get a good sleep without it. I pack pretty minimally so usually end up wearing all my clothes in bed so the spare clothes pillow never really worked for me.
