So, my girlfriend's VW Transporter has a problem with lower than normal power and juddering above certain speeds. She has been going to GW Stevens on Thirlwell Road for years and took it there again. They have replaced a fuel injector, thought it would solve it - no. Then clutch, which definitely did need doing as dual-mass flywheel was nearly self-destructed. Problem still there. Most recently driveshaft been sorted - still judders. They seem do have done a good job so far but its been in and out of there for weeks now and she's getting the feeling they might have reached the limit of their knowledge, so maybe its time for a second opinion?

So, does everyone have recommendations for VW transporter specialist garages in Sheffield?

Caveat : I didn't end up using them but Paul B recommended Matt at Autohaus Dolby.

The Garage, VAG specialists round the corner from Abracadabseil. They try a bit too hard to look professional, but are not pricey and know their stuff.

This. I've had him recommend since he was servicing classic VWs on the drive.

Worth disconnecting the MAF and seeing if it improves (it's a very quick thing to do)?
