Can anyone recommend a car insurance broker?

I currently have an insurance policy on my van and now I own a second car but I can't add it to the insurance policy for the van as the value of the car is too low so I need to get it insured separately but that is proving expensive to say the least. 

The plan is to clean up the van and sell it in the next 4-6 weeks so I need something short term till that happens and then the NCB can be transferred over from the van but trying to input that scenario into an online quote site isn't going to happen so I need to try and explain this to a real life person and see what options are available.

Any suggestions welcome.

I used A-Plan to get slightly awkward van insurance (classic, grey import, converted to LPG etc) - they seem pretty understanding

Paul B recommended Brentacre to me and they were by far the cheapest my Avensis with a go faster box plugged in.
