Smokin in Dublin
September 06, 2004, 12:00:58 pm
Was in the fair Isle this weekend for a stag do and noticed that the lack of smoking in clubs/pubs.  Now I quit smoking last month so it didn't bother me too much about people having to go outside for a fag.  The 198 big bruvver state thing aside I noticed that everywhere stank of sick and BO :puke01:

It seems to me that the smell of smoke is preferable to the smell of vom

We also managed to find a club right out of 1995 called Spirit, but that's another story.............

I think Dave has it there - it's a health issue, not one of aesthetics.

I gave up the baccy 2 years ago and find some pubs foul to even be in.

But I don't cook a steak on an open fire every time I step into a pub. Give me the smell of vom and BO any day.
